A religious fundamentalist country?

“It’s really none of my business”.

I keep reminding it to myself. After all, I am not an American, and I don’t even live in the U.S. anymore.

But I can’t really help myself.

I’ve stopped even writing in English in Medium about U.S.’ affairs. And I promised myself that I would not do that again. No Sir. None of my business,

But, things keep happening in the U.S. that I can’t ignore

And, as I said, I can’t really help myself.

I really need to comment about events and affairs which keep happening in the U.S., and which define the country, or rather its people.

A minority?. Well, perhaps.

But, with decision-power, it seems.

Unfortunately, some of those bad episodes keep repeating year after year. And nobody seems to really care… Politicians…, the N.R.A…. Society?

Somehow, nothing changes. Year after year.

For instance:

African-Americans keep being killed by police.

The right color of your skin can be a great asset to have in the U.S., only if you are white of course, it seems.

Those aged 18, can be sent to war, and can easily buy an assault weapon, but can’t buy a can of beer.

Sorry guys, but this makes no sense.

Talking about no sense:

The U.S. Supreme Court, is reversing its own dictamen taken 50 years ago, and prohibits abortions at the federal level, but States governed by the Democrats will continue practicing abortions as usual, it seems. So, interested women will have to travel.

What?!!!

Are we losing it?!!! Is the U.S. becoming a religious fundamentalist country?

Who is really in charge in the U.S.?
